Independent toy stores all over the country will kick off the holiday season by hosting a special day to celebrate their community\, the value of shopping local\, and the joy of play. We will be celebrating with family-friendly activities\, in-store specials and more! See the coolest toys this holiday season in-person and find a curated selection of gifts for the kids (and kids-at-heart) you love. Start your holiday shopping this weekend! \nSpearheaded by the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA)\, the annual observance asks shoppers to remember the neighborhood toy stores in their communities as they kick off the holiday shopping season. Scheduled ahead of Black Friday\, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday\, the day offers shoppers discounts\, special events and hands-on experiences with children’s toys. \nOur family-friendly free activities include all the favorites such as make your own Crazy Aarons Putty\, build with Plus-Plus and get a free kit\, and create with Do-A-Dot Paint. All these items will also be on sale. Activities will run from 11am-4pm. \nWe have filled the Village Toy Funatic with all the most amazing and unique toys and books you will be looking for this holiday season. Get your holiday shopping underway and we’ll wrap all your purchases for free!
